- Can I watch the DVDs I purchased from this site with my Region 1 DVD-player?
We sell mostly Region-3-DVDs. If you see the item description you will find “Regional Code: All”. It means that the DVDs can be played in any country using NTSC-format. If certain DVD is specified for a certain region then we mark it as “Regional Code: 3” for example. “Regional Code: 3” is supposed to be played only in the Asian countries like Thailand, Korea, Japan, Taiwan etc. If you any further question on NTSC/PAL/Regional Code, let us know. We will try to give you answer in 24 hours.

- Can I watch the DVDs I purchased from this site with my TV with NTSC?
Yes and you have to watch our DVDs on TV using NTSC.
- What about the TV with PAL-signal?
No! You cannot watch our DVDs on PAL-TV. NTSC or PAL doesn’t have to do with Regional Code. Meaning that you cannot watch NTSC-formatted DVDs on your PAL-TV even though the DVD is region-free or You will use Multi-Region DVD Player.

- Will it run also in the DVD-Rom of my PC?
Yes if you have installed appropriate codecs on your PC. Not related to which software player you use, you need to install at least two codecs for Audio and Video. Typically MPEG2 for Video and AC3 for Audio. If you have problem on searching/downloading these codecs, contact us.

- Regional Coding Enhancement (RCE)
Regional Coding Enhancement (RCE) has been added by some film studios (specifically Warner and Columbia) to selected Region 3 DVDs, with the intention of preventing these discs from playing on some multi-region DVD players. We are therefore unable to guarantee that all Region 3 discs will be compatible with all multi-region players.

- Does "Region-3" mean that English language or subtitles is included?
As the languages and subtitles provided in a video item are solely the decision of the manufacturer, English language or subtitles may not necessarily be available for all the region 3 items. We advise that you check the product information of each item to insure that it contains English language or subtitles.

- What are NTSC and PAL picture formats?
NTSC and PAL are two main television broadcast standards used worldwide. The systems project color images at different frequencies and they are not compatible with each other.
NTSC is the acronym of the National Television System Committee and this standard is used on North America, Canada, Mexico and Japan.
PAL stands for Phase Alternating Line and it is the TV standards used for Europe, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
DVDs have to match the television standard in order to have proper color display. If a TV is PAL only, it will display NTSC pictures in black and white, and vice versa. This problem can be easily solved by adjusting DVD player to match the system or changing the default system to auto so that it will switch to the right system automatically.

- What is DTS (5.1 / 6.1)?
DTS (Digital Theatre System) is a media delivery format that makes audio tracks more closely match the original master recording than other data-compressed soundtracks. Coupled with the multi-dimensional benefit of surround sound technology, the audio quality of DTS-format soundtracks and music mixes dramatically improves content. DTS offers a number of surround sound formats developed specifically for consumer and automotive applications. 5.1 and 6.1 are different channels of discrete digital audio in consumer electronics products and software content.

- What is Dolby Digital (Surround 5.1 / 6.1)?
Dolby Digital system provides 6 channels of crystal clear digital surround sound. Left, Center and Right channels in front provide precise. Clear positioning of dialogue. Separate or "discrete" Left and Right surround channels on the side and in the rear provide atmospherics and ambient sounds. A subwoofer/bass effects channel contributes extra punch to action and special effects sequences.

- The movie plays in Black and White! (usually applies to UK/EU customers)
The majority of our movies are encoded in NTSC format, and the standard format in the UK and Europe is PAL. Most DVD players do the conversion automatically (except Playstation 2 consoles), and most decent recent (less than 5 years old) TVs are PAL/NTSC compatible, though you may need to find a button or setting somewhere to switch the system manually. The user's manual is the best place to find this.

- What languages are the movies available?
All our movies come with a sound track in their original language (so, English in the case of American/British movies, French for French movies, etc), as well as Thai, and sometimes French or Spanish.
Optional English subtitles are always available, as well as Thai, Chinese, and sometimes other languages such as Korean, French or Spanish. You can see more information of the available languages by clicking on the icon of the movie.
